1. Palolem Beach
Palolem Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa, known for its crescent shape and soft white sand. It's perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and even dolphin spotting. The beach comes alive at night with beach shacks offering live music and delicious seafood.
Palolem Beach is located at 15°00′36″N 74°01′24″E, within 2.5 kilometers of the market town of Chaudi in South Goa, and about 40 minutes from Margao, the district headquarters of South Goa. Other neighboring beaches in South Goa include Agonda Beach and Patnem Beach.
2. Agonda Beach
If you’re looking for a quieter experience, Agonda Beach is your go-to spot. This serene beach is ideal for relaxation, sunbathing, and enjoying breathtaking sunsets. The calm waters make it a great place for swimming and yoga.
Agonda beach is in South Goa. It's 43 kilometers (26 miles) from Marago and 76 kilometers (47 miles) from Panjim. Palolem beach, the most popular beach in South Goa, is only 10 minutes further south.

The 86 sq.km stretch of woodland boasts impressively tall trees which reach up to 30m and whose branches obscure the sun.
Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary is in Canacona, South Goa. It’s 53 km away from Madgaon railway station and 59 km away from Margao bus terminal.
5. Colva Beach

At madgaon railway station come out of the railway station from platform 3 side. then walk to the main road (300 metres) this area is called Aquem. from there you will have to catch a local bus to city bus stand. and from there you have to change bus and catch one which goes to Colva beach. Total bus charges will be less than Rs 30 per person.
6. Betalbatim Beach
Betalbatim beach is popularly known as the Sunset Beach of Goa. This vast stretch of white sand beach lies in between the Majorda and Colva Beaches. You can literally walk up to Betalbatim Beach from Colva Beach (road distance is about 4.5 km). Unlike most Goa beaches that are lined up with palm trees, this beach has a numerous pine tree along the shoreline. Betalbatim is known for its clean sands and beautiful surroundings. It is a very quiet and a secluded beach and because of the shade of the pine trees, it is used as a picnic spot by families and schools.
From Panjim:Panjim is located at a distance of 32 km from Betalbatim Beach. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the beach from the main city of Panjim. The best way to reach Betalbatim Beach from Panjim is via taxi. It costs somewhere.
This beautiful temple, located in Kavlem, is dedicated to Goddess Durga. The architecture and serene atmosphere make it a peaceful place to visit. It’s a great opportunity to learn about local traditions and spiritual practices.

8.Church of St. John the Baptist, Benaulim
The Church is popular for its Goan-Christian style of architecture. This church is very attractive and the view of this site is also excellent. The church features low domes, four storeyed towers and rococo. Main altar inside the church has plain paneling and gallery in cornice design. Father Joseph Vas, who was born in Benaulim was baptised in this chapel.
At a distance of 35 km from Panjim Kadamba Bus Stand, 27 km from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station and 5 km from Margao Railway Station, St John the Baptist Church is located 4 km from Benaulim beach in South Goa.
9. Butterfly Beach

10. Sao Jacinto Island
Sao Jacinto Island or San Jacinto Island is a small island lying in the Mormugao bay. It is a lovely little place located about 7 km from Bogmalo beach. This tiny island was blessed with incredible, breathtaking natural beauty where you can catch sights of plate corals.
Most of the island is covered with forests and just the south-western coast is dotted with old houses. There is an old chapel situated here that has an underground tunnel to the other side of the river to Siridao. The main attraction of the island is an old picturesque chapel, which can also be sighted while traveling form the Dabolim airport. This church is called as the St Hyacinth Church that celebrates the feast on the last Sunday of September. One can even see an Old Portuguese lighthouse on the island. Beyond it, a path will take you up the hill to a viewpoint, where you can get excellent view of the surroundings. In the middle of the island is an old spring still used by the local people for their drinking water.
7 km from Vasco Da Gama Railway Station and 35 km from Mapusa, Sao Jacinto Island is situated in South Goa.
